That is an interesting graph, my son's TTA responded well to PP. He is very happy running more boost without knock.
I would love to see a dyno test or track test on a fast TSM car. This would once and for all prove that it is an asset to any TR, no matter how fast. He makes crafted products.
Jason has proved it into the nines. I am sure there maybe others, come on.

It's already been track tested by a fast TSM car (matter of fact the fastest)....

Here is what Dave Bamford (top gun) posted a while back in one of the many PP threads.....

"Here are the before and after egt readings with the Precision plenum and a RJC plate. The egt probes are located in the header aprox. one inch from the mounting flange.

(without plate) (with plate)

(1 1702) (1 1660)
(3 1688) (3 1640)
(5 1759) (5 1647)
(2 1736) (2 1704)
(4 1744) (4 1707)
(6 1802) (6 1682)

These readings are taken at the end of the 1/4 mile pass on a motor with 9.5 CR, 24 degrees timing, 27 boost, 11.5 a/f.
The 1/4 times didn't pick up or fall off by adding the plate, as you can see it evens out the air lowering temps.

I was one of the critics when I first saw it until Brian Scott (turbobuick) gave me his to try out at Norwalk now I am sold on it.

I heard all of the 9 sec. and low 10 sec. tsm cars were using the plate at BG this year, all were taken home with head gaskets intact.

Dave Bamford"

Satisfied yet?:D ;)

since getting the car out of storage last year and getting up to speed on advancements to these cars, this is one product i've been following closely. i've noticed that most people that claimed to get little or no gains from this piece were told that they needed to "tune" the car to the plate but i haven't seen any posts on how to tune to the plate. i purchased a power plate in march of this year and will be installing soon. does anyone want to share thier tuning secrets with the board?

The plate just allows for you to not need a shovel after your run.
What more performance do you want?

Just install it, you do not have to tune anything other than the basic tuning you should handled anyway. Everyone, I know loves the results. "most people"?

The tuning "secret" is the ability to run more boost with the plate and not experience knock with all else being the same.

So if you are running 20 psi with no knock, but everytime you turn it up to 21 you hear knock - that will go away. You might be able to go further. Depends on the engine combination. Try a few things and analyse the results. That's what us old timers call "tuning."

The only tuning you need is to increase boost untill you see knock,I personally have seen up to 28psi and no knock on my motor, but have only ran a full pass with 24psi and no knock 93 gas and a little xyzlene in the tank...................Jace is the MAN,love his products, nothing but the best Quality:)

Jason/Scott:

As far as injector rates go...when purchasing a set for a PP-equipped car, is the general recommendation to go for a set of 6 that most closely match each other?

Perhaps this question's already been discussed, but...I'm assuming that the age-old method of installing injectors with flow rates of +3% to +6% for the 3, 5, and 6 holes would actually be detrimental, once the plate's installed. (This is assuming a stock throttle body and plenum.)

Thanks
