the passenger window goes down but not back up, unless i use the drivers switch , then it will go up and down no problem.
i replaced the passenger switch but still didnt work. it only goes down??

now my volt meter says theres power going to the motor when the up or down position is used on the switch.

so im guesing the motor is gone??
the only thing though if the motor os bad why does it still work when the drivers side switch is used?

anyhelp thanks

The rocker switch has metal tabs ...push the switch foward it contacts the little metal tab and grounds the switch and the window goes down...the back tab is probably broken off on the passenger side switch...

never mind I just re-read your post and you accounted for this by replacing the switch itself......

I had the EXACT same problem. Now mine is sporadic dragon that only shows it's head when the humidity is high.

When I purchased the car, the PS only went down, not up  . One thing I learned after 6 months of going through the wires under the dash etc, is that the driver side switch was the culprit. Replaced the driver side switch (2 times) and it worked fine. Now I am back to sporadic.

If I wiggle the driver side switch, the PS sometmes works and "yes" I already tightened up the contacts on both sides. :frown:

Here's the schematic.
