I'm now the newest member of the "Powercrapper brakes took a dump society".
Fuse good.
Pressure switch good.
Relay on pump clicks on, but no pump action.

I plan to hit Auto Zone for the whole assembly, but wanted to throw it out again. I'm 99% sure it's the pump or relay. Any chance that I can get this piece replaced or repaired?

TIA,
Scott

You can buy a NEW pump & motor.
Supposely the ones from Advance, Auto Zone, Pep Boys, etc, don't have a new pump & motor.
I don't have the guy name or link but he listed them on the GN/T-Type board and here too from time to time.

Some of the vendors, (Casper's, I think) sell the pump/motor assembly. I'm sure they get it from Hank Terry, but I don't have his address handy. It's linked from the GnTTy site, though.

Funny, i fit into the category of guys who went with the Auto Zone rebuild and complete kit for 143.99 or something like that. My powermaster went last week. ****ty thing is it went on me when i just got to work, so i had to have my car towed home. Anyway ordered the rebuild from Auto Zone, Cardone does all the rebuilds i believe. Me and a buddy removed the crap one and put the new one in. Never replaced or bleeded brakes before in my life:eek: let alone a complete powermaster system. Well the moral to this story is, it took me about two hours with just following the instructions that came in the Cardone box. Biggest pain i thought was getting under the front dash where the fuse box is and disconnecting the rod from the brake pedal, that damned pin. Just had a hard time getting under there and seeing what the hell i was doing. Bleeding the brakes wasnt that bad, as long as you have someone there pumping, while your loosening and tightning the friggin nut from the brake lines while getting all the air out. Bottom line is i dont know how long this system will last, but it guaranteed for life:D and i can also say that the new system works better and feels tighter than the one that took a crap on me.
