Powerplate+EGR+Extender Chip??

Extender Chip is in, EGR still on car, Powerplate about to be installed. From everything I've read, the Extender Chip disables the EGR.
Should I drill the EGR hole in the powerplate even though the EGR is being disabled by the chip?

I'd drill it just so I know I could use it later if I wanted to...What's it gonna hurt??

Ya, drill it anyway. You may need the capability to pass smog someday down the line, at which time you'll probably swap in a smog chip which could put it to use.
