Pro Star XP Wheels

Anyone using the Pro Star XP wheels from Weld? I was thinking of some 17x8.5 since I cannot seem to find the Weld KC Stars.

I called summit to order some and they said they hadn't started making them yet, but they were in the catalog! So i ordered ROH wheels instead. still looking for pictures of the Stars in 17".

hmmmm dunno about the 17s....I have tried a set on a f-body...then tried the on Melissa's T....15x9's wouldnt fit...make sure ya check out the backspacing!!

From what I can remember, if i go with 17X8 all the way around;
I should be OK with 4.5 BS, if the car hasn't been lowered too much. I believe anything over 8" wides gets you into territory of notching the frame, rolling fender lips, etc... I believe those wheels jump to 8.5" and 9.5" width, the backspacing on those are 5.5 and 6"., ouch!!
