Proper installation of Fel Pro O-ring head gas!kets , Need Help.

I am preparing to install my o-ringed stock big valve heads. I am using Fel Pro o-ring gaskets and ARP studs. Anyone have any advice on the whats best to seal for coolant and any other potential weak areas? Would the G.E. sealant be a good idea? Anyone that has had good success with the the o-ring Fel Pros I need your input Please! Thanks,Hotshoe.

I have tried many ways with these. They shoul technically be installed dry if you have the latest ones. The early gaskets had no sealer around the water ports.

I did the GE goop one time and was very unhappy with the results. I went back to the way Hartline performance tought me which was coating the full gasket with Ultra Blue. This was the best way for me.

I like the cometics better now tho.

I used hylomar around the water ports.. I have since milled the heads and gone .062 Cometics..
