Does anyone know if the PTE stock location intercooler and the dual fans from ramchargers fit without cutting any thing?

Thanks Jason

I have the PTE Stock Location IC in with the Ramchargers dual fans.

There was nothing to cut on the IC and the fans needed some custom work to get in, but if you follow the stock location for the fans everything should fit.

For me, the easiest way to install the IC with the shroud on is through the bottom. This means lifting the car up high, putting the IC in place then lowering the car.

HTH....

The intercooler is already in, the fans are sitting here. So you have to cut the fans?

Sorry if this caused confusion. The Ramchargers fans (if i remember correctly) will need the mounting ears removed and then brackets or a way to mount them need to be fabbed. I am not sure if this is the case with your fans, but if they are, then if you use the stock fan mounting as a guide you should have no problems with fit.

I think the overall thickness of the Ramchargers fans is only slightly thicker than the stock one.

I have the ears removed and brackets made. They fit a stock intercooled car. Will the same brackets fit this intercooler.

How do yall like the PTE stock loction intercooler?? I want it just because it has 3in inlet/outlet and it's the only stock location one that has those specs. What kind of performance gains would there be from just bolting it in without any other mods from a stock intercooler? Would I pick up a few HP or just a faster spool up?

It is an awesome piece. Very smooth and well made. You would probably be able to run more boost as the intake temp would be less.
