Well I had the a/c bracket off to paint it, along with the power sterring pump, and the alternator with the brackets. I put it all back together and thought everything was fine until I shredded a belt. So I picked up a new belt and shredded that one too right away. I pulled the belt off and it looks like the pullys are mis-aligned. Is there anyway I can shim any of them to line them up? I think the one that is out of line is the alternator. The alternator/ a/c bracket seems to be bent a little bit which is making the alternator be on an angle a little bit. I cant really tell for sure though. What can I do?

Brings back memories.... ones I want to forget. About a year or so ago I went through $100.00 in belts and one $80.00 brand new hoodliner sorting mine out. I had added a A/C delete pulley and at the higher RPM I would throw them off slinging pieces everywhere:mad: Come to find out I didn't put the triangle bracket that ties the alternator and A/C together:rolleyes: Saw some at the track with it in place so I made the change and not a problem since. If your alternator is bent you can probably tweak it a little. Make sure all the brackets are right first.
