If I take the solenoid out of the loop, my vacuum line from the compressor would just route to the external wastegate correct?

Can I unplug the solenoid or do I have to leave it plugged in to prevent codes?

Trying to clean up the engine bay a little and would rather have this set up tuner style than have all these lines all over the place.

TIA

You're correct on the vacuum line routing. If you unplug the solenoid it will code, maybe you're chip burner can get rid of it for you? I would just leave it in, it does help spool up. You won't save much clutter by removing it. When I got the FAST system I thought my engine bay would be drastically cleaned up because you lose the WG solenoid, stock 02, maf, and so on. But those items aren't the cause for the "mess", and it isn't really noticeable. Maybe if I got a new wiring harness, with those items deleted. My "problem area" is behind the A/C compressor, by the valve cover. Too much stuff there. My buddies car had DFI, and only a couple vacuum lines, with a new harness, and that was a clean engine bay.

You should be able to toss in a 100 ohm 1/2 watt or so resistor accross the connector to simulate the solenoid and it shouldn't code.

Thats what mine does. It throws the Check Engine llight ever time I get into boost. Is there any way to plug something into it to get it to turn off. thanks
