Since I got the Thrasher chip, I am seeing more than 20lbs of boost in the low gears and about 17 in 3rd.
What will making the wastegate ajustable do for the car at this point?

Not sure what you're asking...
Obviously an adjustable wastegate will allow you to tailor the boost level to your needs/octane/tune.
When I first put a Thrasher 92 on my car, it was making 23-24psi in 1st and 2nd and 19-20 in 3rd. Even with 100 octane in the tank, it was a bit too much boost for my liking (and my stock turbo), so I dialed it back to where I was with the RA93 (18-19psi) and eventually decided it ran better with the Red's chip.
Anyway...an AFPR and adjustable wastegate are a necessary tuning tool for these cars...along a Scanmaster or DS, Turbo-link, etc.

So, the spark retard I am getting might be because of over boosting and I need to dial it back a bit.

Yes.
How much KR are you seeing? You should be below 2* KR.
I know there are some differences with the TTA's, but 20psi is a good amount of boost if you're running pump gas (93 RON or lower).

I am seeing around 4*, once it shot to 7* Since then I wont go WOT... another thing I noticed tonight after review the Turbo link logs is that I am onl seeing 4.40V at WOT, that might be causing some problems as well. Going to adjust that tomorrow.

Honestly, I hate to say it, but I am not sure how much boost, as a guess I would say 22 in 1st, and 20 in 2nd...18 in 3rd. The tubo link is not hooked up to read boost yet and its more than the factory guage is capable of reading.

So, I will be making the ajustable wastegate tomorrow. An bringing it down under 20.... Next weekend the guages will go in(Autometer Ultra Lites for Fuel and Boost).

Don't play with boost unless you can accurately gauge it. I put an Autometer Sport-Comp on the A-pillar before I even put a chip in the ECM. ;)
Did you baseline your FP before pulling off the old FPR? If so, add a 1/2-1psi with the AFPR and see what happens to your KR.
One change at a time with these cars...

The thrashers pulse the solenoid differently than most chips... they're known to have a spike when you first spool-up. My recommendation is a nice boost controller, something like a BstC which does quick-spool up similar to the thrasher, but I haven't heard of anyone having spike issues with them. It is installed inline between the ecm and solenoid, replaces the ecm's control of the sol.

my friend who does chips told me some guys like to either pull timing back a bit in third or pull a pound or two out in third b/c of the increased load on the motor makes it knock more.
