question about hose coming from turbo

ok, i am putting my stock turbo back on and there are 2 hoses that are on a y kinda looking thing, one of the hoses attach to the turbo but i cant figure out were the other hose goes to, i apologize about the crappy description but any help is appreciated, thanks

The 'y' thing is the orifice, the single side of the 'y' connects to the wastegate solenoid or bleeder valve of some type if you're not running the stock setup. On the other side of the 'y' it is very important that it is hooked up properly....
The straight side of the 'y' goes straight to the turbo, and the part that branches off goes to the wastegate accuator.

Yes, it does, I didn't remember which so didn't want to give you incorrect info and was hoping since you were just swapping turbos the hoses would already line up pretty much correctly as they would have some permanent bends in them from being hooked up in the past.
