if i get another one of those plates to hold the turbo together and remove the wastegate, what do i do with the two vac lines that go to it? and if i do remove it will it through any codes?

im runnin a deltagate and a LT dp so i dont need it at all.... are either of those lines from the stock wastegate supposed to go to the delta gate i havent even looked at it so im not sure where they get hooked up at...

The LT downpipe comes with vacuum line routing instructions for a deltagate. I don't remember exactly how they go but yes, they have to be hooked up.

ughhh he didnt send me that...

ive only got a lil instruction sheet thats like a third of a page long..

hose

2 hoses going to the factory wastegate
1 hose goes to the vacuum block on top of throttle body---cap this off at throttle body.
The other hose-- starting at the turbo-goes into a Y --out of the Y goes to actuator, and the wastegate solenoid.
Do away with all this hose and Y
Leave the wastegate solenoid wired or it will code
Starting at the turbo again--run a hose to the bottom of external gate ( this will put pressure on the diaghpram to open the gate)
In this line you just installed---put a T in--out of the T --run a hose to a regulator -- out of the reg.---go to top of wastegate.
This line will allow you to adjust air pressure (boost) into the top of the wastegate, thus helping the spring inside the wastegate to keep it shut ( higher boost)
Clear as mud???---Best of luck

I didn't know you made them anymore. I just had a guy that wanted a DP like mine and I said they weren't available. Let me know if you can still make another.

3 in dp

Cool 84, You are somewhat correct. I don/t plan on making any more, but I had 3 left from last winter. Sold one last week locally, have 2 left. Thanks--Lee

deltagate

Chumanga--what a name--from my experience with a Deltagate, assuming all is well, if you back the adjusting screw out until it is not touching the spring ( you can tell by the tension) then run it in until you feel it touch-- plus 1 full turn, lock it down there. You should have somewhere around 12-15 psi with out using the reg. From there use the reg. and continue to raise boost.

vac. line

You will not be using your wastegate solenoid. It must stay wired. Do you mean should you plug the fittings on the solenoid. It doesn/t matter. Maybe I don/t fully understand the ?

yea, i was just wondering if i need to plug up the solenoid where the vac line from the wastegate/turbo hooked up to it or just leave it off... u said to plug the one to the block on the tb i didnt know if i was supposed to purposely leave the solenoid unplugged.
