Greetings all;

I have installed Stage rite transbrake in my GN. I bought a Delay Box & eclectic solenoid (spring loaded).

The plan was to install the solenoid and have the delay box trigger the solenoid to pop the shifter out of low and launch the car.

The Problem I am having is that it doesn’t have enough pressure to pop it all the way and disengaged the transbrake. Now with that said. I have the solenoid mounted low, so I can (or hope to) be able to reinstall the center consoled. So I can hide most of the hardware.

The instructions for the solenoid suggest mounting it as high as possible, so that is part of the problem. I can do that but I will not be able to reinstall the consoled. So I was thinking of a stronger spring so I can keep it low and under the consoled.

The delay box is a “Little Wizard,” small enough to fit in the console’s glove box.

Has anyone ever done this? Any suggestions?
