I just got my Walbro 340 and did get the link to the directions, but have to ask a some stupid questions. First off where the hell is the fuel pump to even get me started? The last pump I changed was in 1986 on a 78 Trans Am. Do I need the car on a lift or can I do it jacked up? Also how long should this take me if I take my time?

I am somewhat handy at installing most bolt on replacement stuff so I assume I can do this.

It's in the gas tank.

Just jack the car up and remove the tank then you will see where the wires and hoses go. You will then bump the tabs around to remove.

I used a board on a jack to lower the tank down then back up.

I did mine and the hotwire in 2-3 hours.

Make sure you don't pinch the hoses when going back up and I would replace all the rubber hoses.

I'm not sure what link you have, but this one pretty much covers it all. Take your time and get it right the first time...you'll be happy.
Fuel pump install

Same here, never did an "in-tank" pump before the GN, did it by myself in about 3 hrs, using a jack w/board as described above is the only way to do it alone.
Make sure the tank is empty first :)
And make sure after you loosen the retaining rings before you lift out the pump assembly that you use a vacuum cleaner to suck up all of the sand and dirt thats around the ring and the seal so it doesn't fall into the tank when the assembly is lifted up.
And make sure you have a new replacement fuel sock that mounts on the pump pickup before starting the project.

Make sure you replace the pulsator with the fuel line and clamps which should come with the pump.
