Trying to get my car running well for summer, something popped into my head last night. I had the chance to put my GN on a full-fledged ignition scope a few months ago. I remember me and the two guys I was working with sorta commented that the ignition pattern looked pretty crappy, especially when snapping the throttle. Didn't think much of it back then since I didn't know my car was knocking and all that, so we didn't do any further testing.
But now that I have a ScanMaster and know that my car doesn't run so great all the time, I'm starting to consider buying some ignition parts. I have 35k on the car right now, I bought it with 26k. Any chance something could be wrong with the ignition module already? Plugs were changed at the 32k oil change...haven't touched wires or coils. Is there a simple way to test the coils? Or should I just get some wires and see how that goes?
What wires would people suggest, I know Kirban has a few sets.
How about those coils from FullThrottle, are they actually an upgrade from stock?
