Racing MT slick pressures etc...

Mods are in my signature, and those runs were on some somewhat bald 26X8.5 MT slicks, I have some 26X10's mounted on ttype wheels, Can I expect to lose top end with the bigger slick or should I run a little higher air pressure? I'm tryin to break 7's with my set up, front sway bar is coming off to before track day this friday. So basically is that to much tire for my car?

I have never seen to wide of a tire unless it rubbed.

I might try it with just a little bit more pressure, just cuz it will probably hook the same and feel less squishy at the end of the track...If it doesn't hook the way you want it to, just bring the pressure down again.

For that size tire...

...on that kind of car, I'd say somewhere between 12 and 15 psi. What were you running on your old slicks? You should let your 60' times or your contact patch tell you what the car wants, but the above recommendation should be a good starting point.
