I can't believe I did this :o . I was removing my fan shroud to allow for more room to install a new intercooler shroud for my V4. The old one got crunched on a speed bump. Anyway, I also have an alky kit with the tank mounted on the fan shroud. After removing the bolts on the shroud, it was a tight fit pulling it out. Something on the bottom of the shroud seemed to hang on the bottom area of the radiator on the passenger side. After getting the shroud out, I notice coolant leaking through the lower radiator support. Can't see exactly where it's coming from. Doesn't appear to be from the fins area and I'm almost certain it's not the lower hose. Any ideas what I could have screwed up ?

Probably going to need a tube repaired. I had an old Ford truck. I was taking the turn signal lens out . It was stuck and I had to yank it out, bumping the radiator with it. The crosstubes basically burst from the incident so I had it recored. It must have been ready to let go anyhow. Have it pressure tested and they'll find the leak or rent one from AutoZone possibly. You might be able to get away with crimping the broken tube until you can get it into a shop for proper repair. Good luck.

If you pull the radiator most likely you will see the bottom of it has rotted out.

That's where my first two went anyway.

I may try something like POR15 and some way of eliminating standing water and ice buildup in the winter and POR15 the bottom of the next radiator to slow down the rust.

Just my .02 from experience. :(
