Ram Charger's Electric Fans Motor Problems?

Has anyone else had problems with the electric motors on the Ram Charger's Dual Electric fan setups? I had one that was installed by the previous owner of my car and the motor's shaft spun off it's center, breaking the plastic blades off - I talked to the guy I bought it from and he said that he had put it on only about 2 1/2 years ago. I just bought and installed another from them and it worked fine for about 15 minutes, then one motor seized up shorting out both sides and eventually my car overheated and popped off a radiator plug... right at the enterence to Pearl Harbor. All I have heard is good things about these fans, but all I have experienced is somewhere in the range of WTF!?

I have called and emailed Ram Chargers and am awaiting their reply.

first I have heard any problems with the RC fans.. Mine work fine.. Maybe you just found the 2 bad ones out there? They are OEM quality so they should be a darn fine part

I have them on both my cars and no problems? Call Dave and talk to him.

Thanks all for your info, I think I am just going to chalk this one up to the Borgia family curse or something. I have gotten in touch with Dave and he is sending me out another unit. I should be up and running again just as soon as the fan gets here.

Anyone know if RamChargers is having backup order problems. I have been waiting on a replacement fan for almost 2 weeks now.
