for only doing a few minor mods the GN sure did perform very well for being close to stock...

And the objective scores are just that. Anyone ever been in a 5.0 Mustang? They are more rigid than the GN. I find the Mustangs pretty uncomfortable. AND WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH TURBO NOISE? The sound of the turbo brings a smile to my face everytime I hear it. The GN had hardly any mods and if it did have a few more things would have been different.

you and me both... my sister has one and so does her husband. he has a 5.0 fox body and she has a 94 5.0... i dont like the way they ride...

That's a little surprising for the brakes and for the slalom. Does anybody know who this guy is or the GN at least?

The GN WASTED the mustang and beat the corvette in the slalom. I wonder what all the mustang guys (who have never driven a TR) think about that.

I thought that was odd too. I can believe it beat the Mustang but the Corvette? Also our cars are known for poor braking and it did pretty well there too? It did have 16" wheels and bigger tries than stock so I am sure than helped the performance in the slalom.

the poor braking and handleing is just myths slower cars like mustanges and monte carlo ss owners used to feel better about getting spanked by a v6.

I think there is some truth to what you say but my car still has the stock tires and it does get a bit hairy once I hit 100 mph.
