Reading plugs

i seem to have misplaced by chilton manual and i need help reading my plugs. they are 20k old, bone dry, no corrosion, but they are whitish in color. whats that mean????

it means you're running too lean. they should be a nice, light tan color.

i dont have an apr, so how would i go about fixing a lean condition

that's the only way. upgrade pump, apr and hotwire.
