I have one of those heavy duty Moroso rear end cover coming. The kind that have externally adjustable screws for supporting the axle caps.

Anybody have a good rule of thumb as to what to torque them to???

TIA.

The last one I installed ( don't remember the brand)...

...had the torque specs in the instructions.

Lee, are you refering to the cover bolt torque? My TA cover said to torque the cap support bolts to 5-7 ft lbs. Maybe it has to do w/ the brand cover your running.

torque values

I was going from memory on my TA cover (I bought one when they first came out) I was thinking it said 10-12, maybe they have changed or I was mistaken. Anyway 7-10 should cover it. I doubt if the cap would know the difference.
