I have been fighting the trans line bracket on the passenger front oil pan bolt. Finally got it. About to take off the oil pan, but took the converter cover off first. The flywheel and the converter have no oil on it. The converter cover had some oil on the inside. I can't see anywhere else where oil could be coming from. Is it possible the rear main can be leaking and no oil will be on the converter and flywheel? The car is leaking a decent amount, but nothing major. I just can't stand oil leaks. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

YES!!! mine started leaking after a sticky pcv valve pressureized the crankcase. I thought I was crazy cuz the flexplate and converter were dry but a slow steady drip out of the small hole on the converter cover said otherwise. She's all dry now though! Also look closely at the back of the intake/heads and be sure that the rear seal is the only leak. Good luck Jon Hanson
