I am looking at buying new rims & tires. What back spacing should I go with on the back? First of all I plan on using 275/50/15 nitto 555 DRs on the back mounted on 15/8.5 wide centerline wheels. I dont want them sticking way out but I still want enough clearance inside the fender well. Anyone know what I should order these wheels at?

I RUN CENTERLINE 8.5 rim it has 3.5 bs wit a 12.5 x 28 et streets with no rubbing on frame or fender and the lips are not rolled

I also run 8.5" Weld drag lites w 3.5 bs. I'm running 275/50/15 Nitto DR with no problems

First off, don't confuse "offset" with "back space" - way two different things.

with an 8.5" rim 3 1/2 back space, you'll probably have to run some air in the bags and have the 70s jacked up look to clear the 1/4s...I personally don't care for the stance

I personally run 275 60 15 on an 8" rim 4" BS and it is CLOSE all over but no rubbing. My car is also lowered a bit as well

Maybe the 275 50 gives enough clearance...
