What bearings should i go with on my car? Its coming out this week and going to the machine shop and need some advice on bearing and rings? Its basically a stock motor, i will be putting on ported irons and a bigger cam.

I run the Clevite 77 bearings. 960P for mains, 1398H on the rods. I just installed a coated set of these from Swain coatings in NY. Gonna try em in my street motor this summer. For rings I run file fit Speed Pro.

What about for a daily driver? File fits are probably overkill for a street car like mine.

I ues file fit rings on every engine I build with no problems.
