I have (what I hope) is a simple question. HOw to remove the front grill. I have an air to liquid intercooler, and have recently discovered at least 2 pin holes in my radiator for this set up. This after having the intercooler itself repaired, new lines all around, new water pump, etc etc, I'm at my wits end, and feel like ripping it off. (Don't worry, would never ACTUALLY do that) Have looked all around with the trouble light, and cannot figure out how to get the front grill off, to remove the rad.. Any help please.

From underneath the car. Remove or just move the rubber mat and look straight up. You'll see the screws by the top of the grill where it's fastened to the header. The lower part of the grill just swings and is held to the bumber reinforcement by a spring on each side. A very long extension for your ratchet makes it a lot easier to work with it.

You can work the grill out the front if the bumper is loose or the bottom.

Cool thanks for the info, you actually answered another question I had regarding that rubber shroud. That is very important I take it then?

Regards.

Yes. It boxes in the air coming thru the grill and forces it thru the radiator.

I'm glad you asked this! I had the same question. I looked in the shop manual, and saw where the bolts were, but I thought they would be visible from above. I should have known better! NOTHING is easy on these cars.
