Hi,
Need Advice On This.got The Drivers Side Valve Cover Off,but It Was Kinda Of Hard.i Lifted Up The Alternator Some What Out Of The Way,but It Was Still Hard Pulling It Over The Wiring Harness And Some Other Suff.i Know It Will Be Knida Of Hard To Put Back On Also.
Any Help To Take Them Off And Put Back On Is Appreciated.
Thank You...

I disconnect all of the wires. That will allow you to move the main harness (behind the alternator) a little bit to get it on. I lay the gasket on the head first and put on and line up the cover. Do not over tighten. I just barely snug the bolts. HTH

the gasket has tabs to lock it into the stock cover so it shouldnt be laid on the head
dispite these tabs whenever doing a valve cover gasket the gasket should be glued to the cover to make install much easier since it wont move out of place and also help to prevent leaks
i use 3m spray glue
spec is torque to about 8 lbs/ft

I personally unplug the wires which allows me to move the harness some. I remove the alternator and then carefully remove the valve cover.

Installing gaskets I use the right stuff black silicone. Place a small bead on the over. Install the gasket on the cover. Snap in gasket tabs on the cover. I then place a small bead on the gasket and install cover with gasket. I then only hand tighten the bolts and and allow silicone to dry. Tighten valve covers and reinstall everything.
