Got some RJC blow proof head gasket set with the 4 steel shim head gaskets, anybody have the instructions on the correct way to install them ?

All you have to do is spread the silicone on both gasket sides and torque the head down. I used to do it without the roller/spreading technique with no problems ever. I personally don't like stacking them, as I go for higher CR at all means (if you dont end up stacking em, I'll buy the remaining set :)

The 4" roller method works way better, coat all four sides with a nice even coat of the silicone. Make sure you have the correct side facing up, should be marked top. Let the car sit at least 24-48 hours before adding coolant to be safe. the instruction say torque to 85 ft lbs with studs and moly lube under the washer, but i did not like that, when the stud started to pull out slightly, so i would reccomend 80 ft max. Torqe in 10 ft lb steps, I would let sit overnight and retorque again in the morning.

Thats the way i did mine. Clean the head surfaces and deck with lacuquer thinner and put the same siliocone on the threads of the studs.Good luck!
