Any of you out there replace your weather stripping for the Roof Rail and trunk?? Car is an 85 Cutlass, if it matters.

I'm in need and trying to find a source for them.

I've seen some on E-bay, but don't know about the quality of them. I don't need perfect, but I do want them to actually seal correctly:D

Any good sources, reviews, to be had?

TIA:cool:

Yeah.. I checked there already. they have the lower door, but not the roof rail. Seems like they carry everything but the roof rails...lol. Unless I can't find them.

At least I can get the trunk there.

Thanks soo far. Know anywhere else for the roof rails??

Whatever you do, dont get any weatherstripping from postons. The stuff is absolute CRAP. 1 year later and its splitting at the seams. It didnt fit worth a damn and I had to exacto cut it in different places to try and shape it right. The seams are lumpy and ugly. I had to move the window tracks around to get the window to roll up all the way. Now the glass isnt angled right. Get OEM.

I sell alot of them they should be on there
I'll double check. May not have the pic listed with the description or a spelling error.

Yeah... It wouldn't be the first time I missed something that was right in front of me though:tongue:

I ended up buying a set of Soffseals from a board member here who posted them today.

Hopefully they'll fit OK, and I won't need OEM seals... I searched this site and they have mixed reviews.

I'll definatley get the OEM ones from you if these don't fit good.

Thanks.

Brian,

I just looked myself and did not see them either.

can you please send me more info regarding upper and lower weathestripping (OE preferred) as well as power antenna assembly, and heater core to:

rsouza@honolulu.gov

Thanks

Rob

Soffseal is what Postons sells if I remember right. Like I said...using the word "garbage" would be too complimentary for this weatherstripping.

i bought lower door ones from bethels goat farm... I forget what brand... but the end seals were not perfect, but for a mere $59/set, I really couldnt bitch too much... and the car never sees rain anyway...
