I am currently using 009's and a stock turbo, what kind of boost #'s can i dial in on 100? Pure 100 no 93 mixed in. I have a Red #0599 100 chip. I have about 19.5 degrees on a 72* night and am still seeing high o2s (900 thru 2nd gear) with the static pressure at 41#. Can i dial more boost in with this fuel? Not seeing any knock on the tech 1 yet and am buying a directscan setup at the Nats. TIA.

Yes turn it up a pound at a time. Keep a close eye on your scantool. All cars are different some can run more boost than others. Good Luck!!!!

Finally someone else who runs nothing but 100 like myself. I would have to have a better idea of what the timing is on your chip. I currently use an extender chip with 22/19 of timing fuel pressure set at 45# line of. I have a very good combo on my car and some good air flow and am pumping out 20# of boost creeping up to 23# in 3rd with 0 knock. Im just turned up my fuel pressure though due to the fact i am running out of fuel according to my MPH at the track. 02s were at 730 with 106MPH should have been around 110 or so. But do like Rob said, 1# at a time, get your 02s down to about the 780ish range with 0 knock. Your 02s are way to high, and you are running pig rich with 900 in 2nd. either turn down the fuel pressure not sure how high your chip requires it, or turn up the boost and drop down to 780ish or so. Do 1# at a time to be safe. You may have your fuel pressure turned up too high. Start at 45# line off and should be safe to start with 18# of boost and go from there.

I too only run 100-octane. Something about leaded fuel irks me, I guess. My car's never had leaded fuel in it. I can make 11's with it, so I'm happy...

I can run 22lbs in every gear with an 18 degree chip, TA49, blue tops, and no KR. Fuel Pressure is 45 with line off. I'm happy with the boost I'm running and won't go higher, since traction in first and second is questionable.

I'm running straight Sunoco GT 100. Translator is advanced for WOT, set for 25 degrees of timing in low gear and 23 in high gear. Solid 25 PSI of boost in low gear (big wastegate puck, big wastegate hole). Extender chip pulls a little boost out on the 1-2 upshift, about 1 PSI drop. Zero knock per direct scan. I may have room for a little more advance, or a little more boost, or maybe both.

Shooting for 11.80 / 11.90's this spring. Last fall went 12.1 @ 113 MPh with same fuel, stock IC, and poor boost control (had lots of boost creep due to smaller wastegate hole)

She's a lot of fun on the street....:D

Other Chicagoland GSCA club members have confirmed with me that they can run 25 PSI on this fuel too. Sells for $3.29 a gallon here.

I'm not sure what kind of timing is in this chip. I'll ask Red at the Nats tomorrow. I'm thinking about trying a Testa chip also. The car is really hauling at the rich settings i have it at now, so i can't wait to get the Direct Scan so I can really improve it. the Tech 1 sucks.

25-26 psig with Jay Carter 92 octane chip (never checked, but I think it is about 18-19 degrees). THis is with a CPT-65 (TE-61) and stretch stock location IC. This is using the RJC Power Plate.

No knock whatsoever in any gear. ERIC.
