SCAN TOOL NO DISPLAY

87 TR Car been sitting for a while just cranked her up and I seen 2.0 on display of scanmaster when I first started cranking car but nothing while car running everything looks ok everything wired up as it has been the whole time its been in car wire plugged in to diagnostic plug no new work or anything done any ideas?

The SM wires are incredibly fine...and can break easily. Check for 12 volts, a good ground and the ALDL port. I hard wire into the orange wire in the back of the ALDL.

Not a broken wire but the little tab that goes in connector I pulled it out scuffed it pushed back in now all good needed a resocket maintenance I guess haha but good to go, Thanks TB.com
