I think I posted this before but...

Are you sure you have your TPS set right? It should be .38-.42 volts at idle. Other than a big vacum leak, IAC at 0 usually means either TPS is not set right or throttle blade is cracked open too far (idle adjustment screw on the side of TB).

ok,i think i hope i found the problem, the hose that connects the intercooler to the turbo is very ratty looking,i can't tell if its torn all the way through or not,but its for sure dry rotted.also i now have tps set at 38 and iac is now bringing up some numbers, bad thing is autoparts store don't have that hose i need

That's a start. IAC should be somewhere between 15-30. Are your idle BLM's still 160?

You definitely have a lot of umetered air going in the engine if your block learn is at 160. I would inspect all vacuum sources and the EGR valve. Also be sure to fix any leaks in your exhaust pre oxygen sensor. They will cause an oxygen sensor to read lean and the ecm will try to add in a lot of fuel because of it causing the high bl number.

I dont see that hose making much of a difference unless its totally wasted and you can see light through it.

i can't find anyother possible leakes anywhere, the hose needs replaced any ways.i hate stuff like this,it will drive you crazy

ok,i have replaced the hose from intercooler to turbo and the bl went to 128 for about 5 min.then inches its way back to 160,i have sprayed ether and can not find any leaks.i unhook the orange wire at battery then start back up and it goes to 128 again, then after 5 min.back to 160,if i just barely touch the gas pedal it drops to 128 again, does anybody have a idea of whats going on?its driving me crazy

Check out my thread. I have found other people on this board who have had similar problems but your car seems to have the exact same symptom (160 idle BLM) that mine does.

Alot of people I have talked to swear it's a vacum leak and I was convinced for a long time myself that but there is definitely something else going on at least with my car. If the IAC's are in normal range then the ECM is not trying to compesate for unmetered air. If it was, it would close the IAC valve. Just my theory. Also, your MAF counts seem kind of low. They should be around 5-6. Keep the updated comming.

dark red,i just pulled the driver side manifold off and there is a long hairline crack, gonna go get that fixed and we'll see what happens,i really appreciate all your help
oh,the crack is where its factory welded, toward the back

That's good, it sounds like your'e dedicated. I had a hairline crack in the passenger side manifold and had it welded. Now I'm pretty sure I can hear the driver's side leaking. Maybe that's the source of the problem who knows?

ok dark red 87t,i got the manifold welded and bl was at 128 for a little while then went back up to 160,but i played with other stuff so here are the results
af 08
l8 26
int 160 (bounces around)
bl 160
clt 167
ats 77
rpm 800
tps .40
iac 64 (goes up in the 70's also)
cc bounces around
mal 00
i think i'm getting better,i just would like to get the bl's down

if i turn the fuel pressure up to like 45 psi. line off it runs great, set fuel pressure to 40 psi line off,it idles sluggish.i have a new walbro 340 and hot wire kit

Maybe you have a chip burned for another type of injector? Also how many seconds does it take for the cc feature take to go from minimum to maximum?

update, lol. i have changed pcv valve to ac delco, welded cracked header,i still can not get the bl's down below 160 iac is at 64,i have fuel pressure set to almost 60 psi with the line off.the car runs a whole lot better than it did, boost is set at 15 psi and i'm not getting any knock at all,i just want to get the bl's down to where they are suppose to be.i have a 16 pos. chip and i have it on setting 7 right now,if i change the settings i can get the bl's down to 128,but it seems to run best on 7.i'm still trying, not giving up just yet
