Sheet Metal Valve Covers Scam Seller

well guess what this idiot has done! after not responding to my emails or calls to send the valve covers back i filed a paypal claim to make sure i got my money back. he then contacts me so i tell him i did it because he would not answer my calls etc. (funny not 1 hour after filling the paypal claim he calls) now he also has contacted ebay claiming i never paid for this item that im trying to get a refund on that i paid for on march 23rd so they sent me a nonpaying bidder form that i had to fill out to prove i paid. this guy is a real piece of work. STAY FAR AWAY FROM HIM!

Not surprised, if you search about his covers on here, you will see a post by me stating how he screwed up my covers twice. And then after I sold a set for him and sent him the $$ he never sent me my new set or follow through on our deal.

all i can say, is the ones he sent me and Disco Stu , are very nice and look bad ass ,no leaks, no headaches.

Bob, the man that makes those valve covers, has always been very nice and i have had excellent transactions with him.

J GANG RACING, he is on ebay and sells sheet metal valve covers that don't fit the a/c gn's though he states they do but come to find out he doesn't even have a gn or t-type to use as a template he tried to fab them from gn1 covers as you can see here they don't fit well and he's not very forth coming on customer returns/issues. should of just bought the gn1's but was looking for something different. Jason Cramer where are you :biggrin:

Also when i emailed him to send back the valve covers he would not give a house address only a po box as fedex and ups will not deliver to a po box so you have to wonder when they won't give a house or trailer address.

well that works for you but i had 3 passenger side valve covers sent to me by him and actually sent him a dozen pics showing how they were not fitting as he stated he could not find a regal to use as a mockup then when i ask to return them i get no response until i filed a claim with paypal then he calls and emails now he has gone and filed a non paying bidder on me with ebay so fuk him, I hope his run is short i tried to help him but as soon as it goes wrong he's no where to be found until i filed the claim now he is trying to claim i didn't pay for these How stupid does he think everyone is, lucky for me i used paypal so i will get my money back and he can keep these covers also just to show who he is here is his email to me about ebay (nice try at lying)

When the paypal deal started it automatically got marked unpaid in my eBay auction manager.This is the only way I can get refunded selling fees nothing against you.Settle down you cant make any threats that will hurt me so don't even try.I finally got you a set that fit and you changed your mind.I was going to give you them free and refund you your money I was just waiting on your response.Then you changed your mind and wanted to send them back so I figured I would sell them and not loose a dime.Thank you Bob

Yea right never once mentioned sending me back any money ever and they don't fit the drivers side hits the alt bracket and egr so after dealing for 2 weeks on the passenger side i was done with this bs. Im not getting paid to be a test mule. also my paypal claim would not show up on ebay as unpaid i have almost 700 feedbacks and i am pretty clued in to how ebay works, he had to file it himself and hes trying to get his selling fees refunded on my back and claiming it was from paypal

Im glad they worked for you but without a/c it is a no brainer and im not the only one with issues with this seller on here.

No problems here. Fabbed and to my door in no time. You can't buy Summit brand crooked SBC fabbed aluminum valve covers for $100 bucks more than that. Most are ~$300+. I don't know how he does it so cheap.

Disclaimer: not for those who can't remove their heat shield or use a die grinder to clearance 1.8" for bigger valvesprings or maybe pushrods if you are running stock pushrods.

That's how it goes with hotrodding stuff(even thogh it's a 6 banger buick :biggrin: ). Sometimes you have to do stuff to get things to fit. Valvetrain, motor mounts (my HR's raise mine up a bit) etc. can change how well they fit your application. Keep in mind that this guy is not a Buick guy, but a guy that makes fabbed aluminum VC's and happens to make some for a LC2 as well. They fit. My springs are different, so I had to make mine fit.

I hope everyone thinks these suck, so no one else will have them.

well it seems ebay is now investigating him as he has screwed other people over and also has filed false nonpaying bidder claims to steal back his listing fees from buyers who paid but were not happy with his product. his ebay name is jgr69ca stay far away from this guy as his feedback on ebay and some of the people on this board he has screwed over speak for its self.

PS Jason Cramer any update on the sheetmetal covers you talked about especially the 2 piece design?
