Yes it is,although extensive damage can be costly.One two or even three sleeves is fine cost wise providing not much machine work is needed after that.

I just had my 109 sleeved in #3. Worked out just fine.

Done by Windy City Machine in Chicago. Daryl has a torque plate for Buicks. Not sure if it is 14 bolt though.

My stage has been sleeved in all 6 for a limited displacement drag class in the 1990's! block is still in great shape. I know a few guys that swear buy doin it and they are making seroius power. and running 6 and 7's in the quarter
