Would the Mickey Thompson ET Street tires size 26x10.5-15 fit on stock GN rims? I have an 87. Thanks Pete

I think they would hit the frame. However, with the correct spacer you should be able to fit them on the car. I'm guessing a 7/16 to 1/2 inch spacer may work but make sure you wheel studs grab enough of the lugnut of you may fail the tech inspection depending on how thorough the tech is.

They may fit. If I recall correctly, the MT ET Street 10.5 is really a 9" tire. See what tires you have on your car now, note the clearance on both the frame and fender side, find out the width and cross section of the current tires and compare to the ET Streets.

my MT slicks that are 26x10 and they barely fit, you can actually see where they scrub when I launch the car.

ET Drags (real slicks) are different than ET Streets (DOT legal slicks) 10.5 ET Streets are really 9" wide and should fit ok on 8" wheel with 4" bs

"real" 10" slicks will not fit without some notching, rolling ...ET Streets 12.5 same thing (they are 10" wide)

check the tire specs in Jegs or Summit catalog....they give you all the measurements

the manufacturer says they do.....lots of guys run without 'em....just be ready to add air regularly (sidewalls are porus......rub some Joy soap inside the sidewalls before mounting and they prolly won't leak)
