 May be a silly question but what would make my buick limited smoke only under boost. Could it be the pcv valve letting the crankcase be pressurized under boost condition? If I boost the car any at all smoke pours out from under the car. After inspection I found out that the dust cover is dripping oil out of the weep hole. The oil is blowing back along the tranny and getting on the exhaust bracket and running down to the exaust pipe and creating a lot of smoke. Is my rear main seal trashed or does it need just a pcv valve????

Thanks for any info!!!

Or it could be the oil pan gasket or valve cover gasket or oil cooler adapter o-ring or ?????????????

Not a silly question, but one with many possible answers.

The only oil I see is at the weep hole on the bottom of the dust cover. I cant see or feel any oil at the valve covers or backof the intake or any where else. I'm going to check the pcv valve and make sure it is checking. Forgot to mention that I have replaced the rope seal with a neoprene victor seal. Haven't had any problems with any leaks since then, only a minor seep at rear seal. It just started this smoking under boost the last couple of times I've driven it. I only drive it 2 or 3 times a month.
