I am doing a swap into my firebird with an 87 GN engine. I am looking to run low 11's. Heres what I have so far.

I rebuilt the engine as well. New valve springs, pushrods, etc...

-Ported and Polished GN1 Heads
-Port matched intake
-65mm throttle body?
-MSD 50lb injectors
-Walbro 307 w/ Hot wire kit.
-TRW Forged Pistons
-208/208 Cam
-High volume oil pump and high flow front cover
-LT1 Starter
-Custom Headers, crossover and downpipe from Brian at APE
-A replica of the CAS V2 frount mount intercooler
-Either TE-60 or 61 Turbo
-Tial BOV (Not sure if needed but it couldn't hurt?)
-TCI Adaptar for Buick engine to chevy trans
-Pro-Built 700r4 Trans w/ transgo shift kit, polly mount and B&M Racing Trans cooler.
-2800 or 3000 Stall Converter
-Not sure on the rear end yet. Probably Moser 12 bolt with 3:42 gears.
-26x11.5x16 M/T ET Streets.
-Pollyurthane suspension, sfc's,torque arm, etc..
I have most of this stuff either on my car or waiting for better weather to be put on. Some stuff I do not have yet though.

Now what am I missing and will this take me into low 11's? How much boost should I run in race trim and street trim? And most importantly, is this setup streetable? This is my summer daily driver.

The only problem that "I" might see would be on the fuel side of things....take a look......John C.

You think the walbro 307 wouldn't be enough even with the hot kit or is it the injectors?

seems to me like you would be ok, but it probably wouldnt hurt to upgrade to a 340 or double pumper (which would probably be more than you would need unless you raise your goal......which is highly likely)
