I go .030in for 25-30psi myself. .035 is fine for under 20psi as long as the rest is in good shape. I replace my coils with a new GM one every 6 mos. or so.

So .30 for 25-30psi but i will only be reaching that when i race is that ok to gap that small for street applications which is what i will be doing for the most part

Its ok. Ive done it for years and never had a problem. I run CR42TS in my iron heads.

Why would you replace your coils every 6 months with new ones?
Most of mine have the originals and my coil pack/ignition module tester says they are just fine, even at 35 psi of boost  even if they are 20 years old??

They are so cheap i dont want to risk a misfire at 30psi, 5800+rpm. Eventually i will put a distributor in and eliminate the wasted spark. Ive seen 1 or 2 20 year old coils in the last 5 years that were still ok. The rest were crap.
