speakers again

I would like to replace/upgrade my speakers at a reasonable price. I was going to buy the system designed by jaysgn but he no longer has them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Tommy

Find the sizes and go down to a car audio shop and listen to what they got?

www.crutchfield.com gives you what sizes fit where with either no modifications or slight modifications. rear deck is 4x10, you can use a 6x9 with adapters, just be careful what the mounting depth is.

I think you can have interference, even if you use some 4X10s, with really big magnets. So be sure it will fit before you buy something that you may have to "rig" in order to make it work.

just bought new speakers from crutchfield, 3 1/2s for the dash and 6x9's for the rear. crutchfield will even throw in FREE 4x10 to 6x9 adapters, well worth the purchase. I spent about $190 on all the speakers, they were Infinity Reference
