Time to give away a set a bumper fillers.
All in the name of having fun. Or, at least, who has the most entertaining story about breaking something or carnage on their Turbo Buick.
Post up your story here. Include a picture(s) and, or video if possible. Were not necessarily looking for the most carnage. Just the most entertaining reason why you wish you would have stayed in bed that day. Most entertaining story will receive a full set of Spoolfool Bumper fillers. See link posted below for rear bumper filler options. (there's a new style). Post up as many offerings to the gods of speed that you'd like. I'll try to choose a winner Sometime between Christmas and New Year. Bumper fillers will include free shipping to the lower 48. If someone from from Australia wins them, they can pay for shipping. This should be fun.

Please keep it in good taste.

Note: If there's something else of equal value, or you want credit towards another product on my site, just let me know.

Well, SpoolFool, you know the history of me and JD having a very friendly rivalry going back about a dozen years, and we always line them up for a grudge race. You SpoolFool were actually at this race in NC, Piedmont raceway Circa 2016?. Clint had made sandwich boards with " I got my ass beat by JD" and "I got my ass beat by Bryan" written on them with a picture of a donkey, the loser was to wear the sign and walk the fence line at the track, YES, it is that kind of a rivalry. I had been chasing a knock issue for a couple of months and was still chasing it when I arrived in NC. The car was running pretty well but showing about 5 to 10 degrees of knock now and then. When it came time for our grudge race I still had the knock showing... you know that I am not going to hand him a race ! Anyone that knows me knows that I come to win, not just to show up. What do I do??? I unplug the knock sensor ! ( I am pretty sure this was suggested by SpoolFool himself) , I tree him, and have him about half track and ... BOOM ! He blows past me obviously. He is at the ticket booth getting his slip and waiting for me to come by and gloat about winning. I slow down, and yell to him that I am done... He says, maybe a head gasket. LOL. I get to the top of the hill where the road starts to go downhill and the car shuts off! I have to coast to my trailer. I pop the hood and can see a gap between the block and the aluminum head ! He comes down and says , fire it up. I say, it's done man. He says no it isn't, just fire it up, so I have to prove it to him. There was a nice hole in the head ! A very expensive mistake! Obviously the knock was REAL. He was very accommodating and didn't make me wear the sign as we both refuse to accept a win on a break or a shit run. We both still have our signs !!! The rivalry is still an ongoing deal with us to this day. We tried again in OH the first weekend of October this year at Dragway 42. I made my personal best 1/8th and 1/4 pass there. 6.20 at 113.69 and 9.66 at 140.67, then my car gave me the finger and the rest of the weekend ran like shit. JD had multiple issues there as well so we didn't get our grudge race in. I have had more engine rebuilds than anyone should ever have and for some reason I continue throwing money in the funnel. It has been a hell of a ride and I wouldn't change our rivalry for anything. LOVE racing the TAI class !

Father in law invited me an the wife out for dinner. We went to his house and he was late getting there so we sat out front waiting for him to pull up. He had a long paved drive at the time. We hear him turn the corner and he pulls over the top of the hill and stops once he see's us. We see him, he see's us and at that moment he decides to give it the good ole power brake to show off.

Well he gave us a show all right broke the u joint which then continued to violently spin busting his fuel tank, the pavement and under carriage.

I totally lost it laughing, my wife punches me in the arm and says go help him!!! all I could say was "HE CANT BE HELPED!"

We push it in the grass off of the driveway. We ended up taking my car but he still paid for dinner. 🤣

Yes. I remember that day. We weren't sure if it was false KR. We /I unplugged the knock sensor so you could run it to the 330' and record a "test run", being as it was still qualifying. Guess that all went out the window as you got pared up with JD and decided to make a full quarter mile pass. You also forgot to tell me that you were running 11:1 compression on that hand grenade. I do remember your quote. "I will blow my Sh!t up to beat JD". :p

Phoneguy / Bryan.
We could do an entire contest, just on TIA carnage. The only thing that doesn't get broken is rule #1. Have FUN. :p
Can't wait for May.

I don't know if this is a fair fight. Can anyone have more tragedy happen to them the Bryan.?
Ronnie,
You do have a valid point. He does have a huge "advantage" over most people.
I can see where this contest is going. It's only been up a couple hours and the T6P cockroaches are crawling out of the wood work.

That motor was only 9.6:1 . Piedmont is only a 1/8th mile track so I figured I would take the chance... That turned out to be a bad decision. I still race with the same thought.

Can't forget the carnage in Bowling Green 2018... i had my personal best at the time off the trailer I went 9.72 @ 139.92, then 9.77. We had HERO air too. On my TAI qualifying pass , had a great 60' off the footbrake, 1.39 and the car nosed over and just shut-off right before the 330 and had a great 330 time of 4.01. Well, my car gave me the finger and broke the crank! At the time I think I had the largest payout for any class that year and once again I did not get any of it but you know that I still had fun. Loaded the car on the trailer and was able to walk around and talk to people that I usually don't get to while racing.
