Here lately since the coled weather has moved in my serpentine belt is squeaking like crazy. I do notice it is louder when I come to a stop. Obviously cause there is less pull from the motor. What can be done about this ??? belt has 3600 mi on it.

See if you have a 640K6 or 635K6 belt. A lot of manufacturers substitue the larger belt because they do not make the shorter 635 belt (63.5 inch). With a 640K6, most engines will have belt squeal.

After having several belts only last a few weeks before stretching out to the tensioner limit, I'm pretty sure I went with a 630. As mentioned, the belt called for in the parts store computer is wrong, and they "rounded up" to the next size they carry. I'll check when I get home to verify the belt size I use - I keep the package hanging in the garage for reference.

Some of us have had great luck with the Goodyear Gatorback belt..
Part# is 4060635....The 35 at the end denotes the correct length for our cars
