I have my motor apart on the stand and will be reassembling soon. I was wondering if there were any companies out there that made a stainless engine bolt kit. I thought I remembered reading about one some time back in a post but a search brought up nothing. Any help wpould be appreciated. Thanks!

stainless bolts

ARP strong,beautiful, & reliable.

Thanks Wes. I've thought about using ARP bolts but wonder if you get exactly what you need in their kits. Bolts in question would be any bolt that acts as a stud also. For example the 2 intake bolts that are also studded to accommodate the hook eye on the front passenger side and the selonoid on the rear driver's side. Also the 2 lower timing cover bolts. Both are studded and hold bracketry for the intercooler along with the wire harness for the alternator cable. And last in question would be the exhaust manifold bolts. Are they studded also? Do these particular bolts/studs come the way the factory ones are to accomodate the other parts? ARP would be the way to go as long as all bolts came the same as factory. Any help would really be appreciated.
Thanks again!

bolts

well use arps best bolts they come in polished or regular. Any kind that u have that are not in a heavy duty application then u might be able to get them polished, chromed, or replaced. I would check lokar they specialize in stuff like that. I have seen street rods with those kind that have little bowties on them.If arp doesnt have all of them I would think check a warehouse that carries bolts. Here in tampa they have a place called house of threads. Check the yellow pages. good luck!

anyone have a list or know where I can aquire a list of the bolt dimensions so I can piece myself together a ss bolt kit???
TIA
