Heres the problem. IACs are way too high and i cant even reset it...unless theres a specific way to do it i dont know about. Some times when its cold the iacs are low in the 40s or 30s but as soon as i drive for an hour i come to a stop at a red light and the iacs go to 119 and the car stalls as its downshifting into 1st. I have to hold my foot on the gas so it stays runnind at a red light.I had a code 44 so i checked the wires and replaced the O2 Sensor. Maf is fine. Cause it works on my buddys car.. My iac is new and before i put it in i cleaned the plenum out also.I got to the track friday and at WOT it ran great but the 02s were 860. I havent done anything different to the car so my friend thinks i have a major vaccuum leak. I cant find one. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. OH whats the correct way to set the IAC maybe im doing it wrong.

Your idle BLM's will tell you a lot about whether or not you have a vacuum leak.
Sounds like the IAC needs adjusting instead of resetting. This will of course require that the TPS be adjusted while the IAC is being adjusted to keep the idle TPS in the .38 to .44 range.

I know I was having weird troubles like that. My problem turned out to be the ECM wiring harness connector was corroded.

are_one,

How did you repair the corroded connectors?

I just discovered that I have the same problem.

Thanks,

Butch

I used a di-electric solvent, and a toothbrush. The corrosion came right off. The stuff I used I "borrowed" from work, it's an industrial solvent called Brulin.
