Steering Wheel "click"

My tilt wheel used to move up and down, but i tightened the bolts ont he inside of the column and now thats fine. The other problem ive been having is the wheel "clicks" from side to side slightly. like when i driving on the highway i can move the wheel back and forth about an inch and it clicks. its really driving me nuts. the car has just been aligned and it steers straight and i also tightened the steering box a bit, but i still have this littel movement. any ideas?????

You might have the steering box to tight...
Your additional play could be in the intermediate shaft (the one that is between the column and the box) The joint gets worn at this point (like the old rag joints)
I need to replace mine as we speak...Anyone know where to get one reasonable???
