This is not on my TR, but my Nissan Maxima. It has aftermarket rims on it, with an "allen bolt" type lug nut. I was having a Firestone dealer put tires on it and they ended up stripping out one of the lug nuts. Basically told me sorry, see if you can get it off. First, I'm a bit pi$$ed at the garage, but second, does anyone (snap on, MATCO, craftsman) make an allen bolt extractor. I'm not in the business of stripping bolts/nuts, so I am not really familiar with this. Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sure snap-on has an extractor, might have to order it though. Time to do some foot work :frown:

I went to snap on's site before I was posted but could not find anything in particular for allen bolts.

If anyone knows what I need, please let me know.

Yes, they make extractors. You pound them into the allen head with a hammer then use a wrench to turn them. Try MSC supply, I know they have them.1-800-645-7270

Try taking a large punch on the face of the bolt. Mash it in so you have to drive an Allen socket into it with a hammer. If that doesn't do it drill thru the head of the bolt. Then you can pull the wheel and remove the rest of it with vise grips.
