You won't be limited by boost too much until you get into 3rd gear. With stock injectors you can start to lean out on the top end in 3rd, say 90+ mph or so as the fuel really gets flowing.
With my setup on the T with green stripe injectors (30#, slightly bigger than stock but barely) I was having problems getting knock in 3rd running 19-20psi of boost on 100 Octane (which should be somewhat similar to alchy setup). One thing that can help is to turn up the fuel pressure. May make it run rich on the bottom end but will help a little on the top end. There are some cool web sites that have formulas for fuel flow needed with certain injector and car combos. For a rough example, turning up the fuel pressure say 5psi makes the 30# injectors act like 31# injectors, or something similar. Running about 49psi fuel pressure helped take out some knock in 3rd, but not all the way. You wouldn't want to turn up fuel pressure over 50psi on stock injectors.
I wasn't 100% sure about my chip in the car so I ordered a new chip from Turbotweak for my combo and that has helped a lot. I could run 22psi of boost at 49psi fuel pressure but still got some knock at around 95-100mph and had to let off, so still not good enough for a full 1/4 mile run. I lowered the boost to 20.5psi or so and fuel pressure to 48psi and I finally made a decent run up over 100mph with barely any knock. A local highway has become my testing ground as it has a nice entrance from a stop sign that works great for 1/4 mile blasts.
My T has stock ported turbo, dutt neck and a high stall convertor and I should be in the low 12's with this setup. With full 116 race gas and chip I should hit 11's as the car has already turned 12.2 on race gas. With a lower stall convertor, not very sticky tires and suspension not tuned great, one probably won't turn as fast a 60ft as my car will so you probably won't have as much problems leaning out until the very end of the run. The more in tune the car is, the better your mph will be and the more likely you will start to lean the car out and the end of the 1/4 on stock injectors. You definitely need a knock gauge planted right in front of your face to safely run higher boost on stock injectors.
With bigger injectors I'm sure all these problems would go away and I could run a lb. or two more of boost and probably higher timing, but that wouldn't be much fun, would it? I'll probably get 50# MSD injectors later in the year after I max this combo out and then it will be easier to tune besides just worrying about knock in 3rd gear.
Probably more info than you needed, but its always good to be careful and know as much as you can.
