Stock intercooler and shroud removal

I need to pull my Intercooler out again to do the timing cover. Does anyone know if you can slip the shroud out the bottom and then pull out the Intercooler from the top? I have the ram chargers fans mounted soild to the rad so I don't want to have to drain the A/C again to slip the rad out to clear the intercooler with the shroud intact.

yes - that is the way I've always done it.

Great thanks! Dumb question I guess but I've only had the intercooler out once! The one time I did I was doing major surgery so I had the rad fans off with the rad out and the whole deal.

I've removed the intercooler through the bottom before. easiest way I found to do it was to disconnect the front swaybar, that is if you still have it hooked up
