Since this is the first time, im going to tackle this myself, I have a silly question.

Would using an angle drill make life easier in removing the scoop from the ic ? I think the room is limited in taking off those litttle screws on the sides of the ic cover.

If anyone has no problems using a ratchet then I guess thats what Ill try. Just dont want a 45 min job turning into an all day one.

It comes off pretty easily; besides, must of the little screws are missing on mine anyway. Refer to the gnttype webpage for cleaning the I/C, it is pretty straightforward. HTH:)

Who needs all those screws anyways. Takeing them off prob takes most of the time anyways, so less = less time.

1/4 inch ratchet with a phillips bit socket. someone told me if i remember right, disconnect the swaybar brackets and let it hang down, and there is enough room to remove it from the bottom without removing the shroud.
