I have stock turbo/injector/IC, alcohol, and boost commander. I have noticed that my max boost is 20-21 lbs in 2nd gear, but higher in 3rd. Here's the details:

BSTC is set to max and 3rd gear scale is ~20% ( I'm shooting for 22 lbs in 1st and 2nd, 21 lbs in 3rd), but I'm only getting 20-21 lbs in 2nd, same in 3rd.

I tighten the WG rod in an attempt to get one more lb. 2nd does not change (remains at ~20-21), but 3rd does go up 1 lb to 22.

It is consistant.

This is odd. Waddya think? I had not noticed this prior to my valve sping and timing gear change, but I don't expect it to be related. The boost will spike to ~24, but settle close to 20, then rise after the 3rd shift.

Make sure you have the correct "y" in the wastegate plumbing and have the restriction between the actuator and the solenoid - NOT between the turbo and the solenoid.

Probably time for a heavy duty actuator or else dual solenoids.

Sounds like more scaling is needed for 3rd gear as well or more porting to eliminate boost creep.

Winnar! Just got my connector/splitter from Caspers yesterday, and WOW! Right where I want it and rock solid at 1/2 setting on the BSTC.

Next problem: traction. :D
