Just a quick question related to air temperature and boost.......

I played around a lot in my car (86T I got in the winter) in the late winter/early spring when the temps were low, mostly 40's. I replaced the wastegaste, wastegate solenoid, and vacuum lines and set the boost to around 19-20#'s. I'm running 100 Octane all the time and didn't see any knock on Turbolink.

Now comes spring time in NJ and temps have shot up on some days over the last couple weeks, and naturally the car won't have the same power as in the cold air. The other day I noticed boost was down to about 17# or so. This is consistant with what I've read, but I wasn't really thinking about it at the time and was kind of surprised. No wonder the car has seemed kind of doggy lately.

My question is..... I think I've done the opposite of most people, where they tune the car in warmer weather and see the boost spike some once it gets cold. I'm thinking I will probably turn the boost back up a little to 19-20#'s or so, keeping in mind that I have to be careful once the weather cools down in the fall not to overboost. Does this seem like the right approach? Of course, I will be watching knock and everything with Turbolink, etc, but I just want to make sure I'm not doing something I shouldn't be doing.
