switching from caspers gauge to Scanmaster? false KR

My caspers gauge has been showing false KR, sometimes it will peg the gauge and my Direct scan will show nothing as far a KR. I'm thinking of switching to a scanmaster for a permanant solution, but will it show the same false KR or will it read the same as DS? I want something a little more reliable and I don't like having to hook up the lap top constanlty.

I have both Gauges-Caspers and Scanmaster. The Caspers guage measures the signal from the Knock sensor to the ECM. The Scanmaster measures the ECM response to the knock signal. Go with the scanmaster. My 2 cents. Brad
